وقد حضر الراقصون من البحرين والسعودية وعمان ودبي وفرنسا ونيجيريا
وبعد الانتهاء من الحفلة الراقصة
قامت شركة ريد بول بتوزيع مبالغ نقدية للفائزين بهذه المسابقة

DOHA: Fitness First in association with City Center Doha hosted the biggest break dance battle in the Qatar recently. The event on May 27 was part of a 10th Year Anniversary Bonanza Celebrations of the mall

Break-dancing and hip-hop was started to get kids off the streets in the USA and evolved to a unique style of dance that requires great athleticism. The boys do head-spins and back flips in their routine to the music which requires hours and hours of practice.

In addition to the Break Dancers from Qatar many dancers flew in from Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and France to participate in this mega event. It was the first big Crew Battle hosted in the Middle East according to Hakim Omar, a participant from a crew called Zulu Nation.

The show started at around 7pm. It started off with Poppers battling it out against each other on stage. They then moved on to Solo and Crew Battles.

The judges were Razy Kais aka Bboy Fever from France, BBoy Zilla from Bahrain and BBoy Mike from Dubai. On the decks they had DJ Lobito who is very well-known for doing these break-dance events and ranked among the best in the Middle East.

The battle finished at 10pm. All the winners received cash prizes courtesy of Red Bull Qatar. The event was a great success and the mall was packed with the crowd till the last minute and was thrilled with the performance.
